[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Franz Josef Glacier, westcoast of New Zealand. (On the same day as over here.)

We had to walk and climb the most impossible, narrow paths, straight through the glacier.
You feel so tiny in this mighty ice environment. There are times that your are com-ple-te-ly surrounded by blue, white and greenlooking ice. The only other thing is the sky above you.
But wow - how cool is that. Both figur- as literally.

I would be there this summer, I guess i will be very hot and I keep your shot aside to the decrease my body temperature ;o).
I can't imagine somebody pass trough this tunnel but you did it.
Otherwise it's a fresh compostion and that really change from what I saw today.
Seems you have got nice expedition !

Breathtaking image - looks like the inside of a big wave on the beach, snap-frozen... half expect to see some surfers frozen into the ice!

Hey Sarah...nice shot, kinda looks like the inside of the fridge at my work. I like your perspective here and your focus...it is awesome. I like the melting ice dripping down in the foreground too.

This ice cave looks superb. Bet it was worth the big effort to climb up there.
