Photographer’s Note
While attending my mate wedding, we live in a resort called Taipa Bay resort at the north of Bay of Islands, this is what we are looking at in the morning from our room, it just take my breath away. It was at 6.40am, I can't help myself, took my camera and my son and go for a walk at the beach.
Taipa Bay is a pleasant four hour drive from Auckland, New Zealand’s largest city. Auckland itself is situated on a beautiful harbour and it boasts a modern international airport with car hire and regular domestic flights. In fact, if you’d rather enjoy an aerial approach to Taipa Bay then regular flights from Auckland land at KeriKeri (forty five minutes away) and Kaitaia (twenty minutes away).
There is plenty to see on the journey however you travel, but one thing is certain; on your arrival, you will be privileged to experience a welcome that only Taipa can provide.
With its kilometer long sweep of golden sand, nestled between rocky outcrops at one end and a beautiful estuary complete with boat ramp and moorings at the other end, it commands stunning views out across Doubtless Bay which plays host to some of the best fishing in the world.
Taipa Bay is uniquely placed to allow New Zealanders and visitors alike to discover what this beautiful area has to offer.

What a sight ! I'd like to have such a scape from my room's window... beautiful colors and simple but effective composition. Thanks for the interesting note too !

Gosh! I could use a view like that this minute, as opposed to my business. How beautiful.
