Photographer’s Note
This is Kawarau bridge bungy jump, near Queenstown in New Zealand. it's a very popular spot for bungy jumping & in fact is the worlds first commercial bungy site. The operators have built a complex alongside the bridge, which includes a viewing platform (where I took this picture from). The drop down to the river below is 43 metres. And yes, I did jump myself, although I have to say that my jump was not as spectacular as this one!
The original image has been cropped, I have used PSP to adjust the colour balance slightly, and also to sharpen the image.

An exciting sport. You have catched a very good moment. The jumper was making a nice gesture while he was jumping out.
I think the picture has been over saturated a little.

Good one Peter, this is something I won't do! But good on you.
Great capture of this diver - he certainly is diving in a spectacular fashion. You have a good POV. Well done.

Hi Peter,
Fantastic capture of this moment at which one makes the difficult decision to jump to the void.
I would not do it, it gives panic to me this type of jumps.
The photo is good, it catches the action very well, congealing the movement at that hard moment. Good lighting and nice colors.
Regards,
Josep
PS: Wednesday the Barça plays the final of the Champions League in Paris, against the Arsenal.
What nerves!
