Photographer’s Note
At the end of XIX century gold was found at a very far corner of Great British Empire. Thousands people from all over the globe came to New Zealand to dig some fortune out. Small and big towns started to grow around South Island like a mushrooms. Orepuki was one of them. Located on a shore of Southern Ocean in about 50 km from Invercargill it was populated by about 10000 people at a best time. Unfortunately all those glorious times have passed. Now Orepuki nothing more then tiny village with one pup, one shop, dusty road and about hundred people who for some funny reason still live there. But some buildings still keep spirit of the past, they still remember about days of glory...

Hello Dmitri,
simple but interesting photo! Looking at some photos like this means taravelling through time and space... I like it :)
The doors (?) look a bit too dark - because of the strong contrast and too bright sunshine? - but on the whole it's a very pleasant photo with good depth and good composition.
greetings from Moscow,
Elena
