A typical day on the road to Milford Sound in Fiordland. This photo looks up from the road to the beech forest and the cliffs above. After and during rain (which is most days) the cliffs have hundreds of waterfalls cascading down from the clouds. This site is at Falls Creek where there is a small parking area - one of the few along this stretch of road.

with the mists hanging over the mountain tops and water pouring down the slopes you have captured a hugely atmospheric shot, with the subdued light bringing out details in dramatic style, very nicely done.
Best regards Les.

Impressive Fiordland scene for the dense deep green forest covering the mountain landscape, then a glimpse of waterfalls though the cloudy mists.
