Remember the suspension bridge above the waters of Hokitika Gorge? It's a fair walk to the spot and on the way one gets repeatedly stung by sandflies whose bites can cause itchy, painful welts that can last for days. Whenever one stops, the little fantails swoop and flit around each person, having learned that humans are pestered by these insects and so brings with them opportunities for the birds to catch their lunch. At this gate- an compulsory if momentary stop, the fantails were waiting in anticipation of the cloud of sandflies that accompanied the walkers.
You cannot see the sandflies in this photo but you can see one of the little fantails momentarily catching his breath.

C'est une très bonne prise de vue, avec le titre qui va avec.
Bon cadrage, et bonne insertion du sujet qui pose sur la barrière.

Today I shall be very brief, as my move is imminent.
The photo is the way I visualize. Everyone has their way of seeing and each photo shows the personal signature of the photographer.
Best rgds, Wolfgang.

Hi Klaudio, how clever these little guys are! I still have a hat with the net against flies near Uluru. Sometimes it is a good solution. Maybe I will take it to Siberia. Nice view of the Nikon user. You have better photos - with photographer and his photographed object.

This is a very nice and amusing photo and a quite original composition. The note is interesting but rather less nice. I have been stung by sandflies a few times and didn't enjoy it at all.

You have caught a very nice scene and we can't see the bloodthirsty mosquitoes but we can see a very nice portrait of the photographer at work,

I like very much this picture, an agreeable simple composition, an interesting and amusing scene thanks to the interaction between the photographer and the little fantail. I like the way they are responding to each other's presence. Your tight framing and effective colour management have set off their bond in this scene. We also get a good idea of the surroundings (even without the sandflies:) Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a great day,
