you are right, sometimes we are lucky ....
But first of all, we are there for a reason, either on hiking or for shooting. Why not for both of them! The scene is magical with great light and DoF, too. Wonderful mountains! Nice season for taking photos.

Hi Jeff:

I'm not sure how I missed this, but it's fabulous! Lovely shot of Mt. Cook. New Zealand is on my top 3 of places I want to visit, after the UK/Ireland and Chile. Hopefully I'll get there someday. Just love that light.
