[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Haast River, named after Sir Julius von Haast, rises near Haast Pass in the Southern Alps and flows north in a deep, narrow mountain valley to join the larger Landsborough River. The river then follows a west-north-westerly direction through a glaciated, gravel-floored valley with high, nearly vertical sides broken by hanging valleys and stream fans, to the narrow coastal plain, reaching the sea 60 miles from the source.

David,
The picture is too dark, so the water is affected by that, would be nice to see thru, but your composition is good, it is beautiful scenery. Also nice note.
Thanks!
