Country Roads, a photo from Otago, South Island

Photographer's Note

This photo was taken somewhere in the Otago region of New Zealand. With the amount of hiking and driving we clocked up and the amount of photos Ive taken, unfortunately I have no idea on the location of this shot.

What liked me about this is the colour of the ground against the blue sky.

the color saturation is very well. and you have a pretty scenery. though I wish a shot like this was in Landescape format, so I could see more of the ground and the sky.

There are many street views in TE, but this must be one of those bests. Endless way and splendid colors. So simple composition and so elegent work - funny thing. Well considered, Brendan.

Hi Brendan, This trully is a very good picture. The clouds dropp there shadow on just the correct place turning the "grass" into a great dark colour. Well done.

Brendan, I agree with you and I like the color of the ground versus the sky. They really complement each other well. I like your point of view here, how the road just comes to a point, but also slants across the frame. Thanks for sharing.

Whoa what a space :)

I like the "weird" fragment on the left, with the grass being so dark - it does look post-processed in the first place, but later on you can actually see it's just a cloud over your head.

Very good composition, it gives you the feel of space and the length of the road as well.
