Photographer’s Note
No photographer could resist "the photogenic tree" at Lake Wanaka. It sits in the very edge of the lake only a couple of hundred yards from the town's lake frontage.

Ha, nice composition...I am not sure how most people "take" this tree, but this angle is very good, right from the waterline...nicely done!

Beautiful vista. Because the tree leans towards right, I would position it towards left. In this place it would mean cropping out the snow-capped peaks, which isn't desirable. I wonder what the place looked a few steps to the right? Interesting photo anyway!
