Photographer’s Note
The Silver fern flag is sometimes seen as an unofficial flag of New Zealand, in several variants. The silver fern itself is a quasi-national emblem, being used for various official symbols, including the Coat of arms of New Zealand and the New Zealand One Dollar coin. A number of New Zealand sports teams, such as the Silver Ferns and the All Blacks use similar silver fern flags as part of their official merchandise.
Some of it can reach up to 20 m in a few species.
This picture was taken during the wonderful trek in the Abel Tasman National Park, in the South Island.
I hope you like the picture
Best regards
Víctor

Hi Victor!
Great shot of this artwork created by nature. For the composition it`s maybe a bit too much in the center.Good sharpness at these nice spirals and a nice blurred background.

Hello Victor,
This is a very interesting plant! I didn't know it was a symbol of New Zealand. Good details in your photo, although the "hair" on this fern is a bit strange to look at! :-)
