Photographer’s Note

This is another late evening shot from the beautiful Wharariki Beach, on New Zealand's South Island: rain showers and low clouds were blowing in from the Tasman Sea, but I was lucky to get a few breaks in the clouds.

This is a very nice shot! I´d love to visit this beautiful country, but the picture helps me to scratch along until I can go there. Nice sharpness and details! Very nice composition!

Great light and excellent sharpness in this broad but balanced composition. The water looks great with the light falling on it. Superb view of the wonderful coast of the south island.

Hi Jeff,
the normal version lets only "imagine" the landscape, while the large version makes us plunge in this amazing Tasman Sea. The rainy weather is very well rendered in your picture. Congratulations, Dario.

Quite nice break in the clouds indeed, it adss a good splash of warmer colors on this superb panorama :)

Good 'large size' Jeff - it is so clear.
It's a great coastline down there, in fact the South Island is an awesome place to visit any time.

Hi Jeff,

Interesting place. The rocks seem huge here and I even see a tunnel in one of them. I guess living so close to the cean must be nice, specially to watch sunsets. Nice composition, very professional and well presented. Thanks Jeff!...So when do you visit Canada again?
