Photographer’s Note
As the evening sun illuminates the limestone stacks of Wharariki Beach, on the north western tip of New Zealand's South Island, two nervous young spring lambs scurried away from me, bleating for their nearby mother, as I walked back to my campervan.

Hey Jeff
I think this photo is magnificent. Each layer in the photo consists of a very interesting feature. Green sloped grass, to thickly intwined native trees. An intereting rock formation and the ocean to boot. There is alot to appeal to the eyes in this photo. Oh and the little sheep make a nice feature betwen it all.
Well done

Hi Jeff
Splendid light here and the ewes are well placed in this scene. I like the way the line of the tree tops follow that of the land. Nicely exposed.

Very good sharp detail seen in this shot Jeff. I like how one of the lamb's actually looked your way. The composition works well, with your layered effect. I like the separation seen between the first hill, and trees, and mountains and sky (and sea). The square crop works very well here to display all of these layers, with your main subject, the lambs.
Thanks, John
