Another shot from one of my favourite New Zealand locations - Wharariki Beach, at the far north western tip of New Zealand's South Island. The footprints are unashamedly mine!

From a RAW image, with ND and polarising effects via Nik Color Efex Pro 3.0

Hi Jeff.
Wonderful shot, this one. It's a very controlled exposure that preserves the colours and highlights very well, with a little help from ND and Nik. I've used Nik a bit, too, although it does go over the top sometimes. Great viewpoint looking over the very sharply defined grasses at the arched rock formation. The tracks and middle distance interest such as driftwood and reflection are also great features. Lovely shot.

Hi Jeff. A fine composition with a judicious balance between blue and grey. The highlights on cliffs and grass add warmth and in the case of the cliffs and arches it puts them into sharper relief. Lovely work. Regards. Klaudio.

Hi Jeff, wonderful view, with the grass in he foreground on the sand, and the beautiful stone arch on the background.

I definitely like your POV in this shot ... it provides such good perspective. The fine varied light adds life to the scenery, a view with a superb feeling of depth!

Ecellent shot, with a really natural, kind of windswept feel. That arch makes for a teriffic break on the horizon.

I am really attracted to this fine shot. I love the grasses in the foreground that just add soo much to the overall image depth and for me, invite the eye to explore the entire scene. Great perspective and very pleasant colors. Well done and TFS. Gerald
