Photographer’s Note
Wharariki Beach, on the NW tip of the S Island of New Zealand: these limestone stacks have been carved into some fantastic shapes by the wind and waves of the Tasman Sea.

hello Jeff,
beautiful colours here, I particularly like the contrast between cool blue of the sky and warm golden light on the rocks. the formation on the right does look a bit like a roaring lion, apt title :) did you apply some noise reduction on the sky? I like a lot how perfectly smooth it is.
very well seen and presented, my compliments.
best,
Kristine

Hi Jeff,
Excellent clarity and lighting....particularly like the warm rays on the right side rock structure, which is nicely contrasted by the greenery. The entire scene is fresh, clean and seems totally unspoilt. Excellent compo and colours. Very well done.

Hi Jeff,
I really like this shot - characteristically very much like Haystack Rock at Cannon Beach, Oregon (see my posts from there) The deep green colors on the golden colored rock adds a very nice touch. Good capture and TFS. Gerald

Hi Jeff,
It`s a pleasure for me to see people who care as much as you do about how their photos look and pay the fee -in time and effort- to make them look at their best.
This wasn`t an easy photo to take but you managed to do it quite well.
The third-party plugin (Nic Color Efex Pro 3.0) works fine but do you know that everything it does can easily be reproduced just using the built-in tools in Photoshop?
Oops! I hope they won`t sue me...because I can prove it:)
It can make the process faster and easier, though.
Thank you,
Nelu
