Photographer’s Note

Picton is southern port of call for inter-island ferry travellers and gateway to the Marlborough Sounds. Encircled by forested hills, Picton is custom-made for tourists, and the main street is well endowed with shops, cafes, restaurants and bars. Recreational activities around Picton include bush walks, mini-golf, flight-seeing and, of course, a wide range of nautical and marine attractions.

Hi Jack, this is actually a nice image. You've captured the sounds nicely...it's like looking through a window. I'm not sure but I think maybe the foreground may be a little off putting for people. I've cropped it in a WS, just to see what it would look like without the foreground.
