Photographer's Note

I took this photo a number of years ago when I was staying with a group at Furneaux Lodge in Queen Charlotte Sound. Comet McNaught waslow on the horizon shortly after sunset - very impressive. I had no tripod & had to rest my camera on an old tree stump so the quality is not so good, which is disappointing, but I wasn't going to let the opportunity of photographing a comet pass me by. It was the brightest in the Southern Hemisphere for around 50 years.
Exposure time was 85.1 secs @ f.5
