Photographer’s Note

Fiordland, southwestern part of the south island of New Zealand, is one of the area's in the world with a lot of rainfall. Annual precipitation reaches about 5000mm (that's 5 meters!!!).
One can understand that cloudy, rainy days are much more likely than great blue sunny skies.
We hiked (in New Zealand called tramping) the Kepler Track. The nearby and famous Milford Track was already fully booked, and that one has no opportunity to camp with a tent. Great walk, and does make you feel tiny....
