Photographer’s Note
I was traveling throughout New Zealand to see the start of the 2002 Volvo Ocean Race, and also to see the country. Fortunately, we spent a lot of time on the South Island (but not long enough... we missed the glaciers!). I don't know who's kayak this is. It was just sitting on a very isolated beach. I liked the contrast of the red against the otherwise grey-ish colors.
Would like to punch up the red a little in PhotoShop. Would definitely appreciate any tips on how to do this!
