Photographer’s Note
On the way down from Mackinnon Pass, there is a section where the path would have been too steep so they built some metal and wooden steps. These steps are just beside this waterfall, which is quite wild in sections. This was a relatively tame section and there wasn't too much mist in the air, so I was able to take out the camera and shoot this image.
Shadow/highlight, curves and smart sharpen in photoshop.

Hi Rob, good work with the slow shutter capturing the bridal veil effect of the water... something I haven't ventured into yet. NZ forest vegetation can be quite dark, but you have managed to bring out the colour yet keep the exposure even. Good sharpness too... well done.
