Direct contrast with my last posting. When rain comes to Milford Sound it can come with a vengeance. New Zealand's Fiordland is one of the wettest places on earth with average rainfall of over 7 metres. To be in the fjord in a storm is something else! Spectacular but quite difficult to get good pictures. This photo was taken on Fuji slide film on Nikon F-401 camera - hand held on the boat on the Sound. The boat was pitching quite dramatically so a tripod would not have worked. The rain was very heavy which has blurred the scene somewhat.

The landscape is great! Pity that the splash (and/or rain) is blurred photograph!

That's such a wonderful place!
I like this picture too! I miss a bit more of sharpness, but I do enjoy the colors, exposure and composition!
