I like it Chris,
a marvelous atmosphere in the shot, the balance is good and the format is great, the fog I like it a lot in the shot, good photo job here.

nice setting good clouds nice reflections especially of they kayakers good focus on the mountains but the kayakers look a little overbright.

Hello Chris,
this shot of yours has immediately reminded me one of the best pictures ever seen on TE, made in a completely different place of the world (Kayaking in Ha Long). The best feature of this one is a quite balanced composition, where the yellow reflection of the jackets on the water creates a very pleasant "spot of colour" so counteracting the darkness of that part the the picture. Spectacular place. The positioning of the couple on kayak is just right - as they heading towards the unknown of the curving fiord. Good composition, nice layers. Fine feel of adventure.

Excellent snapshot. The composition and clarity strike...
I think the picture deserves to align the horizon - I have tried this in a workshop. Sorry to remove your black top and bottom.They absolutely suit the picture. Hope you don't mind.
I wish I have had that view....

Great shot. Other than the scenery being typically stunning, even for New Zealand, your composition here is spot-on. Your subject is more or less "at thirds", with plenty of empty water for them to paddle into. Well done and thanks for sharing it.

Stunning location, good composition & great light too. The light seems to be the kind that changes within seconds, very diffcult to control but it works well here.
