Photographer’s Note

Another for my series on Doubtful Sound in New Zealand's South Island on the west coast, taken with the compact point and shoot Pentax. Here's another one. A third one here if you're interested. This was a day of swirling, menacing clouds and many showers, interspersed with small bursts of sunshine. The sea itself was fairly flat, but the water was horribly cold.

I love the atmospheric image here complimented by your descriptive notes. I have always wanted to visit NZ. This photo prompts me to save for a trip. TFS.

Another impressive panorama Andrew. There is a rawness, something elemntal in this picture. It really stresses how puny and unimportant humans are when matched against the grandeur of Nature. Great PoV that brings across the above mentioned impression. Well done. A sta la vista,Klaudio.

Mmmmh! Just the kind of atmosphere and view that makes me shiver! I absolutely love the colors and the composition, the POV being so low on the sea. Wonderful, truly wonderful!
The purple in the sky compliments so perfectly the harsh green-grey sea. What more is there to say?
*insert gasps of joyful picture staring* :D

all three pictures are worthy of posting and you could have made a series out of it. in this one, low pov, hanging clouds and excellent dof makes me feel like i am already there. good color.
