Photographer’s Note
This photo was begging to be taken. My wife and I were approaching Mount Cook-Aoraki, as it revealed itself from behind the bend in the road, we had to stop for the cattle on the road. With the mountain lined up perfectly and what seemed a "serious" photographer in the right foreground, this has proved to be one of my favourite shots for a while.

Hey Chris, Welcome to TrekEarth
A nice first photo; a great composition, with the flock of sheep in the background, the mountains etc. The foreground is also represented nicely, with the brown grass and the fence. What lacks, just maybe, is a little more sharpness in the foreground, but not too much. The colors are maybe just a little too "magneta". But nevertheless a great photo.
Enjoy
