Photographer’s Note
This photo was taken from Mount John on Lake Tekapo. You can see Lake Tekapo in the front and the Southern alps in the back. The views from Mount John, where there is also an observatory of the University of Canterbury, are really stunning and it is worth while going up there. From the small carpark you walk around 45 to one hour to the top.
