Photographer’s Note

The beautiful glacial lake at Lake Tekapo, Canterbury. I arrived there late, but fortunately the days are longer at this time of the year (summer) and I was still able to venture out with my camera. I found the scenery absolutely beautiful with the hazy pink shade of the far off mountains, the striking blue color of the lake, the few dark green trees and the pink flower shrubs. I only wish the shrubs were a bit more spread out to be more visible.

PP: I took out a slice of the top (clear blue sky and nothing else) and bottom (dry grass/ground) to get this panorama size.
