Autumn City Reflections Photo

Photographer’s Note

I went to our city center this morning to take some autumn photos to post here in TE. I started at the park but the lighting conditions was not that great ... in fact there was a light shower. But on my way home I saw this building with some reflections. I suppose it is a different POV from the usual autumn landscape scene ... hope you like it.

beautiful image, well noticed and captured.
The reflections seem to be real, as if a poster is attached to the walls of the building!
The effect is really attractive.

Hello Renier,
Interesting reflections but I think the colour contrast between building and the autumn trees is the real eye-catcher!
Well framed subject with sharp fine details!

Hi Renier

I like the warm vs cold colour contrast, between the red sky & cyan building facade. The yellow leaved trees add a secondary contrast. Good sharpness & tight framing. Tfs!

Salut Renier,
very original point of view for the autumnal trees reflections. The colours are well saturated and balanced. Only the sky looks a bit artificial.

Hi Renier. You were perhaps destined not to get a shot of your choice in city centre. That is why we gained to see this beautiful composition of reflection. A nice shot indeed. TFS. Disappointment does lead to success sometimes ! Doesn't it? Regards.

Hi Renier,
Quite a stupendous reflection of these trees here! They even seem painted on the glass! The two trees below add a nice color touch to the compo.Sharpness , POV and framing look fine to me!

this is a diffrent kind of view. You often see diffrent things reflected in new buildings but these trees are something unusual. Well seen and well done.

I have tried to leave feedback on this photo manytimes but for some reason i couldn't:( I'll try to do it now. This is very simple, but very good architecture photograph with stunning sharpnes and amazing reflections on the shell of the building. I like the yellow trees at the bootom too. Very nice photograph.

Wounderful clarity to this striking urban-autumn capture. The trees make a pleasing reflection in the modern glass and the golden fall trees make an excellent frame for this unique composition.

The reflections are nice on the glass, but what appeals more is the autumn colours on the trees at the bottom, which also frames this building very effectively. Well done!

400D is quite a leap fwd...I tried shots at night with 1600 ISO, came up quite fine...also the speed is excellent!
