Please read the note for my previous image where I explain the current situation in Christchurch, a city badly destroyed by the earthquake of 2011.
Everywhere in the city earth moving machines roar, construction workmen shout, pneumatic drills punctuate the air. What can be saved is prioritized and beautiful structures like this clock tower are receiving tender care while other damaged and precious old buildings are propped up with shipping containers and await to be saved.

Dobar trenutak snimka, ostrina i kontrast, lepo pokazan trenutak sa radnikom koji radi na sanaciji arhitekture, lepe boje.
Dobar rad i kompozicija, lepo uhvacen trenutak, lepa kula sa satom.

I think earthquake is the most feared natural disaster and your photo from ground zero aptly shows why. For a developed nation like New Zealand it has taken almost 3 years to return back to normalcy. I also like the fact that despite huge loss to life and property the city cares to preserve its heritage. An excellent reportage photo with an well written note. Thanks for sharing.

Cuo sam za taj zemljotres u kom je ,cini mi se,jedna zena iz Srbije nastradala,ali to je ruzni deo zivota sta raditi?!
