Photographer's Note

A fishing boat working in the choppy waters of Foveaux Strait between New Zealand's South Island & Stewart Island. The boats following the boat are mainly albatross (you can tell by the wing shape) but there are also black-back gulls & sooty shearwaters. Foveaux Strait can be notoriously rough as it is relatively shallow, & the seas come up from the Southern Ocean.
