Photographer’s Note

Again a view of the One Foot Island on the Aitutaki Lagoon. A little bit minimalistic, without palms and with just sand, sea and sky.

Thanks to the scan work with a professional one of a my friend the colours are quite similar to the original ones.

Its aren't saturated. I know that isn't easy to believe on that, but the sky and sea colours on that small atoll are something of ...fantastic.
Totally absence of pollution for some thousands of miles in each direction, just pure air and pure water.

That's what the world WAS.

Wonderful colour in this superb tropical seascape, with a marvellous blue sky. I like the diagonal of the sandy shoreline. Tfs!

Olá Paolo, and the paradise series continues, after the Carnival break ;-) Love this minimalist one, may be the one I like more of all. The scan is indeed impressive. Simple and very enjoyable. Excellent work!

Hello Paolo,
Very mood blue. A simple but powerful composition with effectively four colour quadrants. The curve of the shoreline seems very soothing somehow together with the little islands. Beautiful sky. Lovely tones all round and great clarity.

Do i see wrong or have you really captured a diagonal reflection with the clouds and sand? Bottom left and top right corners look like yin and yang! Beyond the perfect blue, this feature of your photo, whether intended or by chance, is the greatest point in this marvellous vacation shot.

How funny, you and Toni joined TE on the same day. He's been on 2 years too.
I love the paradisical colours and the different tones of blue. They contrast well against the bright white sand. The horizon is well placed and that high band of clouds is a plus.
