Photographer’s Note

This picture is taken on a very sunny day in the Wellington harbour. There was almost no wind as you can see from the water, which is a very rare event for Wellington ;)

Hello Ali,

Welcome to TE.

I think this has all the makings of an attractive picture, with the interesting textures, diagonals and shadows on the wooden walkway.

However the reflections at the top edge of the picture and the ring of disturbed water at the top left draw the eye away from the main interest.

The lack of a note - however brief - is in my opinion a negative factor when posting on TE. It's always worth writing one.
