From Mt. Victoria Lookout, it does give a spectacular 360 degree views of Wellington, including the small airport (not in picture). Downtown Wellington does have a compact layout, basically divided into 4 quarters ie Willis, Lambton, Cuba and Courtaney. This view does actually covers all 4 quarters !
Port Nicholson Yatch Marina is almots in the middle and on its left is the Te PaPa Museum.

Unlike HK, the downtown area is not so gray, there is colors in this city, mostly blue or red spots. I like the way you framed the shot with treesat the bottom.

Thanks for the memory! Nice panoramic shot of Wellington. I remember the Te Papa Museum very well, especially the "base isolators" that protect it from earthquakes - they seemed particularly proud of those.
I like the way you framed your photo between trees and sky. I think there may be a blue cast to it though and maybe slightly over-exposed. Still a lovely view.
