Waiting in the crowd for the parade to start these two women with their tinsel halos caught my eye. The one wearing the colourful wig, just about to reapply her lipstick, has been caught full flow, but her friend looks a little worse for wear...
I’m not so happy about the heads in the foreground, I tried to rotate and crop but this image then had no context.
Post processing: Right hand of image slightly cropped, unsharp mask, resized and minimally JPEGed in The Gimp 2.
