Photographer’s Note
A competitor at the X-Air Dirt Jumping competition. The building in frame is the Michael Fowler Centre.
The idea was to freeze the action so that you can see how crazy these bikes with little wheels are. This was shot on ISO 400 film but I told the camera it was 800, processed to compensate for this. I was shooting in sport mode and I think the shutter speed was about 1/750 of a second.
Post processing: cropped and adjusted brightness slightly. Resized and minimally JPEGed.
