Photographer’s Note
The beach at Island Bay, Wellington (NZ) was alight on Guy Fawkes Night. Couldn't resist taking the camera and tripod down and taking some time exposures. All you need to add are the noises plus the smell of gunpowder!
In the background is the island of which the suburb is aptly named. Beyond the island is the Cook Strait and the South Island.

Hi Aaron, you've managed to capture a great shot of the fireworks with the water, boats and island behind. Good composition. I would have cropped off some of the lower part, but I think it's a fantastic picture!. Well done...

Nice photo Aaron!
Good composition with the fireworks in the foreground, and the island in the background, which is about the same size, go really well together.
Well done!
