Hello Paul,

Beautiful representation of this pure New Zealand lake. The dark, cool tones in the water are so well composed. Having the waterline low in this shot is good, so you don't end up with the 50/50 sky/water effect. The stillness has produced some very clear reflections, with little distortion. The cloud scattering provides that extra amount of detail to complete the photo. I checked out both your workshops, I particularly like the second one of the Slalom. Do you compete in this event at all?

Hi Paul, I had a look at your workshops too. This is a little quieter over on this side. Judging from the quiet nature of the lake, you'd never know that people were skiing a short distance away. The composition works well on this one with the still water reflecting the shoreline and sky both in very good detail. The colours too are great.

Hi Paul.
This is a nicely cropped and luminous shot of this stretch of water. You could almost turn it upside down, the water is so still. It's a good example of the effect of polarising. The blues are superb, and there is just enough light and detail in those rock faces on the far bank. A 'small' but delicate picture.

Olá Paul, this is a wonderful double landscape floating in the sky, in a nice panoramic format, but the best one imho is the fantastic WS1. It's a great dynamic image with a marvellous interplay bettween the human silhouette and the explosion of water behind. Congratulations.

The mirror reflections make the shot, simple subject but right conditions for photography, the polariser also helps, well done. The WS versions are in total contrast to the calm. Storm indeed.

I can imagine the contrast between this scene and where the waterski championship was being held. There were certainly no reflections like these here. Perfectly balanced despite the almsot half/half approach.

This appears to be a beautiful tranquil scene with no hint of what was happening behind you. The reflections look so perfect it could almost be the same if you turned the image upside down. The action shots in the WS are very good and could make main posts. Well done

Hi Paul,
I think it is an interesting idea to not use the half-half framing for this perfect reflection. The beautiful sky can compensate for what`s missing from the near foreground.
Very original, I like it.
The contrast is big but not disturbingly big and the colors are so...serene.
