Photographer’s Note
Somewhere between Mangakino and Benneydale, on the road from Rotorua to Te Kuiti, through large forests of planted Radiata pines and pockets of native bush.
The contrast is remarkable, with uniformity of tree sizes and alignment on the one hand, and complete wilderness on the other.
The poor quality of this photo is due to my laziness : I took it from inside the car, through the winscreen...!
