| These two yachts were sailing within the lee breakwater just on dusk. The colour caught my eye. The sand here is ironsand - pitch black. It had rained for the first time in weeks and the seagulls were enjoying some additional fresh water run off from the small stream emptying itself into the Pacific Ocean. |

I like the contrast here of the red sails with an otherwise fairly grey world. It would have been a bit nicer if the focus had been on the boats instead of the birds and sand, but sometimes these things happen.
