Photographer’s Note

Stayed at a holiday park just north of New Plymouth on the North Island. I spent some time as the sun was going down photographing a nearby creek. Took this photo after the sun set and was interested by the foam which was racing across the beach due to the evening wind.

Hi Dan,
the foam looks very nice on that dark sand.I like that the color of the sky is mirroring on the water and one hardly can see where are the borders between them.
Nicely captured.

I like the colours and the contrast and depth of the foam on the black sand. Though, to make it perfect I think the image lacks a certain point of interest. But definitely a picture that makes me longing for vacation on a lonely beach :-)
