This is just one of the amazing views during the 1 day (7-8hr) Tongariro Crossing in the Tongariro National Park.
Walking across Central Crater I looked back and just had to take the photo. Mt Ngauruhoe is in the background emerging from the cloud with Red Crater in front. I like the hikers who start at the top of the crater and can be followed all the way to the foreground.
