Hello to you all!
Sharing the view of the harbour of Mangonui up north during my visit from last summer!
This town is well famous for it's fish and chip from near and far, it's worth to pay a visit with it's beautiful coastal view!

It's a lovely place to have a house or ...a boat!
I like how the vegetation arrives right by the seashore, so you have those deep greens and blue side by side.
Seems more like a lake than sea: a perfect natural harbour.

Hi Tony.
The highlights here are terrific - the houses, the car, the white flowers and above all the white boats in the harbour. Great composition to take the eye down the wooden steps in the left foreground and round the curving road to the other side. Lovely light and natural colours, and slight appearance of under-exposure, which I like. Superbly done.

have you a special light in New Zealand?;.)On your picture it's always wonderful!With such a light, you could only have marvellous colours!I like very much the luminosity and contrast given by the white boats and houses all over the picture!The POV is superb,and there is a great sharpness on the grasses of the foreground,this is magnificent!

Hi Tony,
it`s a great view above the town and the lake, I like the dramatic sky and the rail to the left. Great depth of field and sharpness, you know what I would have done? Clone out the cars, but that`s the only thing, a very nice shot, great job!

Hi Tony,
The lovely pastel sky and silver sky with the tranquil rolling hills make the perfect backdrop to this breathtaking harbor scene.
the scattering of white sailboats and village homes with orange roofs adds very effective scale and contrast to the calm blue waters of the placid harbor.

The package of various elements, provide a pleasing composition.
I like the shades, and the high point of view is unbeatable to appreciate a beautiful panorama in its entirety.

The contrast of blue and green is very significant, and the whole atmosphere invites given a ride in a sailboat

I agree with you: a beautiful coastal view. Hills, mounts, interesting coast line, different signs of human activity (houses, boats, cars etc.) - all together an excellent advertisment for New Zealand. You can not imagine how good it is to look at your pictures in these desperate days.

This is a superb view across the harbour with white dotted boats on the water. I like the wide angle view to see everything so clearly from this POV.

The light condition is so pleasant to allow you for these shades of green. January and it looks like a good time to shoot here.

Hello Tony,

Fish and chips sounds just the thing at the moment! I'm a little peckish and ready for lunch!

A wonderful seascape and landscape displaying beautiful clarity with only an F stop.
The steps make an effective lead into this shot which has amazing variety.
It can only be a matter of time before the N.Z Government approach you create a brochure to advertise the country!

Hi Tony,
A great POV to be able to show this beautiful landscape and the harbour with a great angle and a fantastic perspective and depth of image.
I like the nice effect of the white sailboats that splash the blue sea, and the houses that also decorate the green landscape.
The wooden rail of the stairs in foreground and the profile of the mountains in background works perfectly at the composition.

What a nice setting you found here. I don't like the area below with the two cars, but man the rest of the scenery is breathtaking, looks wonderful with the little boats spreading all over the bay. But also the lines along the shore and the clarity in the image looks great. A wonderful landscape, seems i don't have enough time to visit all of these great places ;-)

The view is very beautiful and the clarity is amazing. There isn't almost any trace of haze not even near the horizon! The hour of the day is perfect, offering a light with very good contrast but with much detail in the shadows.
