Photographer’s Note

Hello friends,
Mangonui - A coastal town almost at the end tip of the North Island of New Zealand and is famous for it's "Fish and Chips" to tourists and locals alike, will always have a test before moving on to the next town!
This was captured on my last summer trip to Northland, just sharing with you and thank you for viewing

Hello Tony,

A very beautiful panoramic view of this delightful slice of New Zealand. The capture of the seagull was very fortunate, it adds lots of character to the shot. Had the closest bird been lower, I would have cropped the sky to make a more panoramic feel, but this works well still.

Hi Tony,
The bird's position is quite striking!And good details too on it!
Then the BG scenery looks very peaceful and has nice light and colors. A good vantage point too!

Hello Tony,
I like inclusion of the two gulls, they seem pretty confused, hehehe!
Good point of view to show this beautiful coastal scenery, in spite of some clouds the light is good and renders fine colours...
A well balanced composition, good feeling of depth!

I longing after a real Fish n Chips made out of red snapper. and it looks like those silvergulls also have the same thing in ther minds. good scenic view over some of the greenest parts of the world.

Bonjour Ho,
une photo qui sent un peu le HDR en post processing, tellement les contrastes sont excellents. Tu un un peu poussé les lumières, ce qui rend les zones blanches surexposées.
Un bien joli coin pour la plaisance.

Wonderful capture of this lovely tranquil bay with its deep blue waters contrasting with the lush green forrest and distant hills as they lead to the lovely pale blue sky in the distance. Very clear colors with excellent details and sharpness to this fine composition.

Great light and framing with wonderful clarity of colors.
I do remember this lovely site well. It was the first day we branched out from bus travel and braved driving on the other side of the road. Too bad none of my Coolpix shots have the quality of this one.

Hi Tony,
There is good positioning here and a successful wait with those acrobatic gulls showing off in the air. I like how they harmonize with the white yatchs in the cove. I also enjoyed the lighting and clarity for this scene. Well done!!

Hi Tony. You must have stood on very close to where I did for my Mangonui photo. I missed the seagulls though! We missed the fish and chips also but the café was well up to standard. Well captured with excellent colour and detail. Thanks for sharing.
