Whangarei Falls Photo

Photographer’s Note

About an hour’s drive from my place, on Northland’s east coast, is the city of Whangarei. Within the city is a park, the main feature of which is this waterfall.
It was getting late in the day when I was here and there was very little available light but I still liked the picture enough to include it.

Very nice shot!
Yes, it is difficult to cope such diiference between light in the foreground and in sunshine.
Considering that, very well done. I like vegetation in the foreground. Such a low viewpoint is not very usual. Was there a lot postprocessing?

Hi Tony, I've been here a few times. Quite impressive aren't they? I like your POV coming from the plants below. It is a good photo, but a little soft. Still I do like it and well done.
I have done a WS for you just to show you how the PP can change your photo - for good and bad!! Practice and practice!!
