Photographer’s Note
This was taken after we had woken up next to the sea near Whangerei. We had been walking round through this enchanted forest of vines and trees and amazing wildlife and came out the other side and the clouds cleared away and this tree just seemed to stand out. We walked up to it, over the hill and on to Smugglers Bay I think it was called.
