Photographer’s Note

September is the month of spring blossoms and a sign that the days are getting longer and the weather is starting to become warmer. This image of the plumb tree in my parents’ garden is the first in a short series exploring their beauty.

Very beautiful. Its funny because I just posted a pic of the arrival of winter here in our neck of the woods (happens to be the picture next to yours) :) I really like the diagonal made here across the picture, and the contrast between the white and blue is nice. I like the hint of clouds in the background.

The diagonal line formed by the branch in blossom is really attractive crossing the image and creating a good contrast with the blue sky.

What a wonderful world this is! While Spring is waking up in New Zealand, Autumn is spreading its wings here in Portugal. Great light captured by you on those gente white flowers. The diagonal compo is very good and that clear blue sky *is* the background for this. Very good indeed!

Nice to see you back. Yes, it's great time to see blossoms on fruit trees. Great sharpness and tones of white on shadow and sunshine. You get those early. In Finland that month is June.

Here your composition is nice, and he technical aspects are well managed. The main point of this picture, for me is thatit materialize the idea that it's currently springtime in your country whereas we will have here to wait for more or less six months to get a similar picture... Thanks for sharing this very positive image (especially when I'm just about to enter the long dark, rainy, cloudy and cold season!
