Finally Iím starting to find some more time to start posting pics again. The last few months were a very busy time on the family farm, which limited my available spare time.
Frosts in my area are relatively rare so itís a bit of a novelty to see ice on the grass. This pic, taken not long after the shortest day, was shot just before the sun's light touched this spot. The frosting of ice almost looked as though the grass had been sugar coated!
The only image editing here was to crop the original image back to what you see here. There have been no other enhancements.

It's always a great pleasure to discover your new contributions. The texture of this frozen grass is superb and you managed to find a great depth to dynamise the composition. Good choice also for the horizontal crop which fits well with the subject.

That looks COLD!! Fortunately we didn't get any frost where we live this year!
