This is another image showing a New Zealand native, the nikau palm. Itís a species unique to this country and is also the only native palm tree. The pic was taken at the same location as the previous posting but, for this image, I zoomed in to capture more detail of the head of the nikau palm. The other tree, visible at the extreme right of the image, is a cabbage tree. Iíll post some images of that species in the future.
I slightly increased the brightness and contrast in this image before downsizing and sharpening.

I like the way you have filled the frame with these palms. It's full of patterns and textures. A very graphical shot. Nice work.

Hi Tony, your grove of Nikaus make a lovely composition here. I have done a workshop to deepen their colours just a little and bring down the brightness. I like seeing them growing all together like this, and your photo has come out really well with all those shapes and patterns.
