Photographer’s Note
Many warm sunny days in NZ are spent at the beach (this is Henderson Bay), and a favourite pastime is digging holes. This day the ocean was cold, but a hole full of tidal water warms up quickly and is a great place to relax.
I have not changed this image except a little cropping.

Hello Karen,
Like your photo, great blue colours in the rolling white waves.
Such expanse looking out to the ocean, and an near empty beach.
Great way to relax,
Thanks for sharing your Country.
Rob.

I like such vast views and mountains on the horizon. Only I would hide the person lying on the beach, for example covering by sand ;).
