Photographer’s Note
In other parts of the world I believe this is called an outhouse...in New Zealand we call it a long drop...well, it's a long drop down!I took this shot at a place called Stony Bay, a remote government owned seaside campsite located at the end of the road on the east coast of the Coromandel peninsula. A tent site costs NZ$9.00 per night and for that you get modern (non smelly!)"outhouses", a cold water supply, a cold shower, utter tranquillity, great fishing and fab scenery. The tree in silhouette is the iconic Pohutakawa, a common coastal tree and sometimes called the New Zealand christmas tree because it flowers at christmas time.
