Photographer’s Note
Just after New Year I was in Whitianga for a few days. Unfortunately the sky was completely obscured with cloud the whole time and not the best for taking nice summer photos. This was taken looking across the estuary from the marina. As for the people in the boat, I have no idea whether or not they were catching any fish. What I liked in this shot was the multiple layers and textures of green. It also reminds me that I haven’t been fishing for a long time, which I want to do something about! :)

Nice picture. I really like the color. But maybe the quality of the boat or focuse can be littl ebit better
